Covid-19 with family!

 Hey! It is November and it is butchering time for my grandparents! Every year they raise 3-4 cows which near the end of the year they take to the town butcher and get turned into beef and hamburger! This year mom and dad decided we would get half of one of the cows from Grandpa Darell to eat as beef, hamburger, and steak! They also decided that the beef would substitute for the Turkey at Thanksgiving!I mean, who LIKES turkey?!?

    On the way to Grandpa Darells to pick it up, we were able to see our cousins, Carter, Kamry, Maddie, and Ava, and Grandpa Williams and Aunt Saundra! We only spent a day and a half there but we had a lot of fun playing and spending time with cousins! Grandpa Williams also took me (Aimee), May, my dad, and Kamry to his ranch where we got to check on the cows and horses on the golf cart and 4-wheeler, and see his 2 bulls!

     When we finally got to Grandma Alice and Grandpa Darell's we also got to see our others cousins Henry, Camron, Chloe, our Aunt Tubbs, plus our grandparents! While we were there, we finally got to see Napolean Dynamite with our Aunt Tubbs! Our dad, was not that impressed. We also played with the kittens at our Uncle Garth and Aunt Annie's house.

    On our way back home we picked up the meat from the butcher and braced ourselves for the 10 hour long trip home. ( It actually took 12 1/2 hours because the free-way got closed, and we had to take a new route through some blustery, icy, and snowy mountains.)  We were only in Idaho for a couple of days to pick up the meat, but we had a lot of fun seeing our family on the way!

Florida with Cousins!

 It has become a tradition where we go to Florida with cousins every 1 or 2 years! Last time Uncle Mike, Aunt Saundra, and their kids Carter, Kamry, and Maddie came but this year it is just us, and Uncle Stiff, Aunt Em, and Tori, Isaac, Chase, Luke, Parker, and the baby on the way! It was still really fun!!! The first day we just stayed at home and enjoyed Sunday and our cousins, The 2nd day Me, my dad, my mom, and Tori went on a sunrise walk down the beach to look for shells. We only found some little ones and some sea sponge, but we did make a fun little friend!

On the first day we just hung out , had the Sacrament, and enjoyed the Sabath! On the 2nd we traveled to the beach, and managed to get in an hour of beach fun and then come back to the rental house and put all our stuff away. On the 3rd we enjoyed our rental house's big screen TV's, the front door pool, complete with mini waterfalls, and the beach and it's waves! At the pool everyone came up with fun ways to be entertained! The younger boys all went looking for the lizards that lived near the pool and trying and failing to not go in the hot tub, and Me, Chase, Parker, May, and Cannon all had fun just swimming!

Everyone loved riding the boards, and jumping and swimming over , and through the waves! A couple of new, interesting, and fun games were invented. All the girls, except May may, went to find Tori, a new swimsuit, and on the way got some cool souveneirs at Alvin's Island! We unfortunatly still had to wear masks.

Tori got a bracelet, and me and mom got hats! It took a couple of stores to find a good swimsuit that was modest, and cute! On the 4th day we were all a bit sad it was our last day, but we decided to make the most of it. We had a lot of fun playing in the sand, Isaac dug a huge hole, and we made different sand bodies for the boys!

There were only tiny waves so my dad looked for sea creatures and actually caught several jelly fish with nets, and we all dove for shells and found they all had hermit crabs living in them! We kept catching hermit crabs and caught up to 150 of them! (Apparently Porter was counting!) We released them, watched a sandcastle building demonstration, let the parents go out

and the next day we went back to Uncle Stiff's house. The next days that remained were filled with lots of fun activities!We all had fun going boating, most of the kids enjoyed going tubeing,(Tori didn't want to)

and the dad's and Isaac, enjoyed showing off their wakeboarding skills.

All the kids enjoyed trying tricks on the tube! Especially May and Parker! They loved going and doing tricks on the tube together! Their favorite trick was standing up on the tube, while Uncle Stiff pulled slower to make sure they didn't fall.

Sadly Canon, me, and Luke submarined! Canon was so scared and sad! But everyone was fine , and everything else was still fun!

 The next day we were able to go and see the little farm that Uncle Stiff had! He had a lot of cute,  and not so cute animals! He had some chickens, turkeys, pigs, a goat, and an old horse! Although we could not ride the horse, Pratt enjoyed riding, or at least, trying to ride the goat! Porter, Cannon, and Luke had fun chasing the chickens and gawking at the turkeys! The grown-ups, Chase, Tori, and Isaac liked watching Uncle Stiff feed the pigs, and then getting to pet them! May and Parker both loved holding the kittens that Uncle Stiff's friend's cat had recently had.

While we were still there we played on the trampoline and met a stray dog which the dads kept away from everyone. Once we got back me, Porter, my dad, and Canon riding with dad rode Uncle Stiff's little motercycle and went to bed after watching the new Mulan! The next day we just stayed at home and as we got ready to leave, kept trying the motercycle out! (We still couldn't believe our dad let us)!

And after 2 hours riding in the car with Uncle Stiff we hugged said good bye and got ready for 5 hours on airplanes before we would get to my mom's friend who would drive us to our house. We had such a great time going to the beach and hanging out with our family!

General Conference!

  This Saturday was the 190th annual general conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! We had a lot of great talks including one by our prophet, President Nelson! They all gave great talks that were very spiritual, but also fun enough that the little kids were able to listen! We did a lot of activities during the talks including, finger knitting, sewing, and coloring. We also had a ton of candy from listening to certain words and doing topics bingo!Afterwards me (Aimee) and mom listened to the women's session, and then went out to Bob's Burgers, with Sister Esplin, Sister Loomis, and her daughter Mckinley, ( who is around my age) to celebrate with Nachos, Lava cakes,  and Ice Cream Sundaes! All in all, we had a great general conference!      

Trip to Grandpa's house.

While we were still in Idaho we were also able to visit Grandpa Williams. While we were there Tori decided to visit. Ans as exciting to see Tori as it was, her first day there was her worst! While we were riding horses she got bucked off and broke her collarbone which resulted in a trip to the hospital, a sling, and a little confinement for a couple days to the couch. Luckily it didn't damage the rest of the trip and everyone was able to still have fun! Tori was not able to do things too physically demanding but she was still able to play with the little kids and have girls nights with Me(Aimee), Aunt Saundra, and mom! But that didn't stop the cousins and uncles and aunts to have an awesome game of badminton! I also had a ton of fun with my littler cousins and siblings!

Slipin and Sliden

We recently just got back from Idaho and visiting our relatives. While we were there we were lucky enough to get to see some cousins and uncles and aunts that we have not seen in a while. While we were there we got to go and use the slip and slide that some of our cousin's grandparents had and we were able to have a blast!Everyone including the adults were able to have a ton of fun! In between rides people were able to snack on popsicles and sit in the shade, and when you were sliding you were able to go on your  stomach or ride on a tube. The adults did a contest to see who could get to the bottom first and the kids did chains where they would get on tubes and hold each others feet. The slip and slide was one of the funnest parts of our entire trip to Idaho.

We love our boat!

 Hey! It's been a couple months since our last blog, but we are back up and running with cool news! 

    We were able to get a boat a couple of months ago! Me (Aimee) and dad have officially named it the Sunday! Our family is so happy and we have had a blast learning to use it! All the kids and mom have all been on the tube at least once and everyone except Cannon has learned how and has had a blast on the wake board. Dad is the best at it! He can do big jumps and is currently trying to learn how to do a 360! Me (Aimee) and Pratt love kneeboard, and mom and dad love to try it to! Me, mom, dad, and Pratt can all go in and out of the wake! We usually bring fun treats while we are boating. We all really love our boat!

Chocolate field trip

 Aimee here! Because Cannon doesn't go to school yet, my mom and some of the other moms from our ward have decided that they would all get together once and awhile for some "field trips" for the little kids to go on until they are ready to go to kindergarten. And by ready I mean #1 Cannons old enough and #2 mom lets him! She isn't ready to lose her last kid to the evil clutches of school! I don't blame her. I mean sometimes I feel like, who wants to go to school? Anyway, this time they got to go to a chocolate factory and see the magic! They got to see behind the scenes, and make some yummy treats to take home and eat.(Unfortunately they had to share!)

Pratt's starwars B-day/loosing his eyebrows

 Aimee here! Pratt has been begging for a star wars birthday party for a while so, mom decided to make his dreams come true! We made him a stormtrooper birthday cake, bought pool noodles for the boys to make into lightsabers,  hung up  black and white balloons and found all our guns for the boys to have a nerf war! Unfortunately, only 4-5 guests could make it, so his party was a bit small. It was still awesome though in Pratt's opinion. He got some awesome B-day presents and had lots of fun with his friends!

One of the best parts about Pratt turning 9 is that he went above and beyond to make it memorable by shaving his eyebrows off the night before.  As he was running all over the house on his traditional birthday balloon hunt we noticed that he looked...off.  After careful looking, we realized that he had not only shaved them (minus a few missed patches) but he had also attempted to draw them back on with a Crayola marker.  Best. Laugh. EVER!  He mentioned that he didn't get punished to me that morning while I finished helping him even things out.  I told him that Dad and I thought WE didn't need to punish him.  To this he replied, "oh I get it.  Sometimes your action IS the consequence,"  in his very matter of fact way.  I couldn't have said it better myself!!!

It is the end of an era, as Aimee's last year of NOT being a teenager.  However, this girl is so awesome that I believe she is just gearing up for some great years of fun.  Nearly 6 months before her birthday she requested to have a "themed party."  I was a bit nervous about this until she told be she wanted her theme to be "Fiesta!"  I can roll with that!  It was a taco bar, and cactus cupcakes, a pinata and pin the tail on the Burro.  She also threw in a quick game of spin the nail polish bottle.  Luckily, we are already having our table top replaced....

With all of her new friends here in Washington it was a success!  Plus, I loving growing my very own bestie!  

A fun family ski trip

Aimee here. So for Christmas we got  3-pack where we could go skiing for 3 days whenever we wanted and we also got some cool snow gear. So a couple of weeks ago we decided to make use of our amazing present and we went to White Pass for a family skiing trip. Because May and Cannon are younger and are not as advanced in skiing as the big kids, mom and dad they didn't get to go on some of the bigger trails like, the holiday trail, Jawbreaker, and the Great White.We still had fun on the magic carpet and Far East though! We also got to skip school! Bonus!  This was out third and final trip of the season.  We all pretty mauch have a hang of things now, and it finally didn't snow on us the whole time we were there!

The start of Aimee's new soccer season!

Hi! It's Aimee again! So last year I did a season of soccer to see if I wanted to keep doing it or not. Well... I do! I have a lot of new and old teammates. Our team name is The Savages! I had my first game this Saturday. We were against the Rapids. The score was 2 to 1. We were the ones with 1. But... you can't blame us. It was kind of bad weather for a first of the season soccer game. It was cold, windy, cloudy and wet. Don't worry though, we'll win next time!

6th grade choir

Hey, my name is Aimee, and this is me in my Leona Libby 6th grade choir concert. I am in Mrs. Tatmans choir class but we also combined with Mrs. Snow's choir class. Mrs. Tatman is also the orchestra teacher, and Mrs, Snow (also known to me and the other drama kids as Mama Snow) is the drama teacher. As you are probably thinking right now, HOW IS AIMEE IN 6TH GRADE? And WHERE IS TOSHA? Let me explain. So when my mom stopped doing the blog it was because she didn't have as much free time to be blogging anymore because she had 4 very needy kids and 1 kid (me) who was also needy but not at all as much, and then we moved to New York for a year, and then we were just trying to adapt to our new home, and then we moved (AGAIN!) to 

Washington State. So...yeah, things have been kind of crazy lately. So far we have lived in Washington State for 6 1/2 months, Me and my mom (Tosha) are trying to start the blog back up, so please know that me, and my mom will both be blogging so please forgive any incorrect spelling or bumpiness in the blog's writing.
